The Embassy of Pakistan in Germany participated in the Nowruz and Spring Festival held on 26th March 2017 at Ethnologische Museum, Berlin, Germany. Participating countries mostly was the members of ECO. All participants put up the stalls and showcase their cultural heritage and handicrafts to the local German people and other world officials. Participants also stage performances of traditional, Sufi and contemporary music.
Different Pakistani’s also setup the stalls which showcasing the Pakistani handicrafts, embroidered accessories, books, and tourism brochures about Pakistan. Pakistani stall was visited by huge amount of participants of different nationalities and they expressed keen interests in the showcased artifacts.
Another Pakistani stall which offer sampling of Pakistani cuisine was also established and the participants enjoyed the Pakistani food which provided free of cost.
Pakistani famous Qawal Ustad Shabbir Khan Gullu performed famous Sufiana Kalam and different Qawalis, which were much appreciated by the audience.
This was a good effort by Pakistan Embassy because it helps to improve the positive and soft image of Pakistan in front of western world.
