HEC Scholarships 2017 for Pakistani Undergraduate Students for Srilanka

Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) announced scholarships for Pakistani undergraduate’s students for Srilanka. These scholarships are offered by the Ministry of Higher Education and Highways of Sri Lanka. These scholarships are offered for the academic year 2017/18 and courses will start in November 2017. This scholarships program is government to government. So, HEC will decide the final list of Pakistani students for these scholarships.

  • ​These Scholarships are not for Medical, Dental Sciences and Engineering students. That’s why applicants in these fields may not apply
  • Students of all other fields are encouraged to apply
  • Medium of instruction is English
  • Candidates can apply in more than one course scholarship

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. ​Must be a citizen of Pakistan/Azad Kashmir.
  2. Students with excellent results of an examination deemed equivalent to G.C.E. (Advance Level) Examination of Sri Lanka are eligible to apply for admission to universities in Sri Lanka.
  3. Students are advised to attach the original letter obtained from the Board of Examinations to prove that his/her educational qualifications are equivalent to the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination (Sri Lanka) or qualifications required for admission is bachelor’s degree.
  4. Student age must be between 17-22 years on 02.05.2017

  • Original letter obtained from the Board of Examinations
  • Certified copy of IELTS/TOEFL certificate

  • Police Report
