This question is also very common and many students ask about it. Which one is the best Deutsche bank blocked account or Fintiba blocked account? Today I will share a review about these two accounts. Both are blocked accounts and you can apply study visa with them. One account is more convenient with respect to Pakistan and other with respect to Germany.
Deutsche bank student blocked account pro’s and corn’s:-
First I will talk about Deutsche bank student blocked account. The first steps to open this account are lit bit difficult and time consuming. Like you need to download account opening form then you need to fill it. After that you need to take appointment in German embassy or consulate for attestation. Then you need to send these documents to DB and wait for account opening. Sometimes this process becomes more frustrating if you done any mistake in account opening form. Deutsche bank charge one time 150 € service charges. There is no additional charges or cost for this account.
Once you account will open and you will successfully arrived in Germany. Then it’s very easy to unblock your account. Just visit any nearest DB branch and unblock your account with your passport. Now I will tell you the benefits of this account. Deutsche bank charges are just 150 € only for one time. There are no additional or monthly charges which will relaxed your mind. You have huge access of atm machines in every corner of Germany because DB is a national bank of Germany. Another good thing is that you can find English language in all the atm machines of DB.
Fintiba student blocked account pro’s and corn’s:-
Fintiba blocked accounts is good only in terms of Pakistan. Because it’s very easy to open this account from Pakistan. You don’t need to download any application form, no need of any attestation. Fintiba offer all the services online. So just visit their website, request for account, give them your details and your account will open.
Fintiba account opening process is more convenient as compare to Deutsche bank. Unblocking of Fintiba bank is also very easy and you can even unblock your account online from Pakistan right after getting the visa.
But Fintiba is not good with respect to Germany. First time you need to pay 89 € charges then each month you need to pay 4.90 € which became 58.8 € per year. It mean each year you need to pay 58.8 €. Monthly charges are not a big issue for scholarship students but it’s very frustrating to pay monthly charges for self financed students. Because scholarship students taking funding from some where and self financed pay money from their pocket. That is the first draw back of Fintiba blocked account.
The second draw back is the coverage of this bank. You will not find so many ATM machines which belong to this bank or it’s associated bank. Then definitely so many times you need to use other ATM machines which charge additional money.
So, overall conclusion is that, Deutsche bank blocked account is better even for both self financed and scholarship students. But it is most convenient for self financed students. Opening of this account is difficult but later you will get more benefits.
Fintiba account is good in term of opening that account. But later on it has more drawbacks like monthly charges and less availability of ATM machines. It’s only good for scholarship students but not for self financed.
Because these accounts are blocked account. So your money will remain blocked and will not available freely. And all the incoming money also will remain blocked, which you will earn from your side jobs. So, to solve this issue, I will recommend you to open another normal student account in any German bank. Then this normal account you can use for your savings and job salaries.
Now, you will definitely ask, which German bank is good for normal student account. Then here is the complete list of banks and student accounts which are best for students.[⇑]
